I really do love the house.
I grew up in the military. We moved every couple years, so every time we visited Wisconsin we came to the house. I have many happy memories of my Granny and Poppa in the house. When my Dad retired, we moved into the house and built an addition on the back for my grandmother.
After a few more years, my Granny had passed away, and my parents were growing tired of the house. My mother found an old church that had been semi-modified into a home and vowed to herself that if it were still for sale after a year, she would buy it. A year passed, and the church was still for sale. The decision was made to sell the house.
In the meantime, I had gotten engaged to the most wonderful man on earth, who happened to have a good credit rating. Good enough to buy the house...........
It really was an interesting summer. My appendix blew up, resulting in a major surgery and a
week long hospital stay. Of course, it happened to be the week we were closing on the house.
My parents stayed in the house for a few months while they closed on the church and did some needed repairs.
We got married in august, and moved in right away.
Kinda.
That's enough for now, but I'll be back soon with the beginning of our remodeling fun.
Really, it is fun.....
